Authors of Complementary Fat Grafting

  • Samuel M Lam (Author)- Dr. Samuel Lam is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon and a board-certified hair restoration surgeon.  He graduated Valedictorian from Cistercian Preparatory School and with honors from Princeton University and Baylor College of Medicine.  He completed his head & neck surgery residency at Columbia University and his fellowship in facial plastic surgery thereafter.  He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. 
    He has authored five major medical textbooks, Comprehensive Facial Rejuvenation, Cosmetic Surgery of the Asian Face, Complementary Fat Grafting, Simplified Facial Rejuvenation, and Aging Face:  The New Paradigm along with over 150 book chapters and scientific papers.  He lectures monthly nationally and internationally with well over 100 lectures to date.

 

  • Mark J Glasgold (Author)- Mark Glasgold, MD, FACS, a board-certified facial New Jersey plastic surgeon, and a principal in The Glasgold Group Plastic Surgery. Dr. Glasgold is an alumnus of Duke University in Durham, NC, where he received a Bachelor of Arts. Long influenced by his father Alvin’s enthusiasm for the profession of medicine, he then went on to Thomas Jefferson Medical School, in Philadelphia, PA where he received his M.D.  In 1994 he received a Masters in Biomedical Engineering from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey, where he also did a residency in general surgery, followed by a residency in head and neck surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the New York Hospital, and Cornell University, all in Manhattan. He then did a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under the auspices of the American Academy of Facial and Plastic Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS).

 

  • Robert A Glasgold (Author)- Robert Glasgold, M.D., a board certified facial plastic surgeon specializes in primary and revision rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation procedures, including blepharoplasty, facelift and facial fat transfer.  He has made significant contributions to the facial plastic surgery literature, including numerous textbook chapters on facial fat transfers, Chin / Cheek Implants, and endoscopic browlifts, as well as co-authoring a textbook, Complementary Fat Grafting. Dr. Robert Glasgold graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.  After receiving his M.D. from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ, he began his residency in the Department of General Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.  He went on to distinguish himself as resident and chief resident in head and neck surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell Medical Center, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, all in Manhattan. A fellowship program in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery followed, under the auspices of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS).  He is now Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
